Coraline

About 6 month ago I tore down my 55gal reef that was running for 5 years and transfered everything over to a 250gal tank. I had lots of coraline all over my rock in the 55. Now that I have transfered the rock over to the 250 gal tank the coraline is dieing off. Any ideas of why? My water params are as follows:
Cal = 440
Alk = 3megl
PH = 8.2
Lighting is 2 400WMH

was it ever exposed to the air... phosphates could also have something to do with it

Yes they where exposed to air as I transfered the rock. I have 0 phosphates and 0 nitrates.
