I have red/pink coralline algae on my rocks and tanks walls. I don't mind it on my rocks but the tank walls get covered with it. Especially in the front. I know I can scrap ot off but I was wondering if there is any type of snail that particullary likes to eat this type of algae. i do have some snails in the tank and I bought them so long ago that I am not positive as to what kind they are.
Thanks for any in put

The only thing I know that will much on it are the pin cushin urchins. The only problem is that they won't just eat what is on the glass, they will attack the rock as well. I had one in my 75 for about 8 months and I recently threw him into my 110 FO tank because I was tired of my rock getting more and more grey.
Also, it seemed that he was attacking all of my hard corals because they grew coraline on the hard part of their stalks. He darn near wiped out three beautiful corals. About two weeks after I took him out, they are starting to make a comeback.
Just my .02

I know a Tuxedo Urchin will eat it..........No matter what you get I doubt it will clear the front glass.

I may have missed this if it was mentioned.... but, try to reposition the powerheads from hitting off the front glass.
