I just bought some cured LR and put it into my tank. Is it allright to go ahead and leave lights on and try to grow coraline algae and stuff with additives, or is lights out and let it cycle?:help: oh yea there arent any fish in the tank just LS.
The lights help but you don't need it too strong of a light and don't need to add anything else except 2 part addivities of alk and calcium. If you don't have anything in there right now don't leave it on too long or you'll get algae bloom.
