Coralline help

I am getting a rock with some corraline on it. When the corraline grows will there be any algae for the cleaner crew to eat? How fast does it spread throughout the tank with really good parameters?

Yes, your cleanup crew will be fine, but if you are concerned, offer them some seaweed sheets. Corraline will spread rather quickly if you maintain good water chemistry. You can use Purple Up as well, but make sure you monitor your water as it can quickly throw your calcium off.

I like to use pellets that sink. My tangs and other fish grab up the seaweed sheets so fast the inverts don't get much other than algae. Your inverts will die off and what ever remains is what can survive with the food level in the tank. Corraline spreads pretty well if you maintain the minerals it needs to spread. Doesn't need much light either, it will grow under a standard flour lite.
Purple up works wonders, seriously, for me it was like corraline in a can.

I see alot of posts by people that swear by stuff like puple up and i do believe it works, i think everyones tank is different and its a trial and see what happens thing.
I had a hard time getting coraline to grow until i got my calcium reactor, then it just starting growing everywhere.
Really only thing you can do is try a product that seems to have good reviews and see how it works in your tank.
I tried stuff like purple up, reef complete, kents liquid ca, etc.
calcium reactor did the trick for my tank.
Good luck!

Patience seems to be working wonders in my tank. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm noticing color change daily.
