Coralline probs

I have coralline algae growwing on the front of the tank. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? And is the only method of removal painstakingly scraping it off?

when i have some spots on teh front i take a razor blade and scrap it off but usually every day i use my mag scrapper.Hope that helps you out.

my mag scrapper doesn't seem to do the job. Do they need to be replaced often? I have had mine for a long time. :notsure:

I use one of the long handled scrapers with a razor blade. As long as you don't have an acrylic tank you should be fine.

A credit card will work also.
