I was just curious(don't want to be judgemental) to see/hear what types of coral, inverts, etc. have people kept with their horses.

i have aiptasia and hydroid jellies in my dwarf tank...
and i have a huge carpet nem and a BTA in my big horse tank with a bunch of pistol shrimp and big jellyfish i got off the internet.
not really....
i got a coral banded shrimp with my kelloggis, they do great.
and of course, my dwarf LOVES having mini-tubeworms
i'm gonna frag a colony and move it into his new tank i think since he liked it so much in the old one

ok, I'm prob going to get yelled at, but maybe not. In my 37 gal, I kept zoos, mushrooms, leathers, macro algea, small blue legs, scarlet hermits, pep shrimp turbos, and nass snails. Along with a clown gobie

yes, did you read my list of compatiable tank mate. The hermits were very small.. fitin to an nass snail shell. Zoos and leathers are non stinging.

All of the above are fine, with the exception of blue legs, they have been known to be aggresive. However, I don't see them as a threat to the larger horses.

The aggression is usually with other hermits and snails.

Cool, thanks. I setting up a tank for Kuda seahorses(everything in it is cycled)and will be adding TONS of pods to mature the LS over the next few months in preparation for my Birthday in May. I want to put in corals for the more natural habitat look. I was thinking zoos, mushrooms, is ricordia okay?, maybe a fire goby, and a few other fish that work well with horses.
What about urchins? They are prickly, but not poison.

sounds good, check the tank mate list about the urchins. I had rics in mine, I think they would only be a problem with fry.

After the parasite invasion, I had to nuke all my LS and LR. So I've been adding them buy the bottle full; rotifers, tigger pods, phytoplankton you name it. It's really helped too. I've had a population explosion. I'm going to order live mysis too, and start hatching those.
I'll definitely look into the cbs

i those are suposed to be harder to keep but safe. i have always wanted one, gonna get one for my reef someday.
i'm gonna probably get rotifers somewhere, and maby pods, the horses have been chowing donw and my population has dropped alot. the pipefish has especially been eating them aswell.
let me know where you buy the live mysis!!!!
