Some of my corals cannot beat the heat.. my AC has been breaking daily and the tempature in my tank is going crazy.... Xenia are melting, hammer coral dying, etc.. I have a 46 gallon tank and im wondering if you all have any suggestions on good chillers for that size tank that'll keep the tank at like 80 degrees without any problems. Also price is a issue.. and i'd like to get a GOOD one.. but also a LESS EXPENSIVE one :) if possible.
Thanks in advance for the help.

We bought a Pacific Coast Imports CL-280 for our 60 gallon and have no problems keeping the temp at 79.
We bought from another on-line store for $399 plus the price of a 400gph external pump of your choice.
Check it out, should do the trick for your 46 just fine!

Hey Speg,
I recently suffered a temperature catastrophy myself.
I know it it stinks to see that happen.
If you read my posts over the last month.. I got alot of suggestions to keep the tank cool..
Without investing $300+ in a chiller.
The frozen bottles in my fuge would only lower the temp about 2 degrees, when i needed like 13 degrees.
So, what has seemed to work for me are 2 little $6 "BlowerFans" from my local mart.
I put a dehumidifer in the room with my tank.
If the humidity in the air is too high, the fan blowing does not work due to insufficent evaporation .. I think...
I have a fan blowing across the display surface and fuge.
I had temps up in the 94 degree range..
For the past week However....
