Hey all i am cycling my 10 gallon reef right now about second week of cycling ive got a coralife 96 watt aqualight fixture........
I have a tetra tec filter and going to make a protein skimmer. Maybe someday get a refugium.I have about 15 lbs of LR right now gonna add more gonna get sand in about a week now to my quetions
1.Is that going to be enough filtration
2.Am i limited on corals
3.Can i keep a mandarinfish

Filtration is good. Get a PH.
Stick with soft corals only.
No Mandarin IMO. Try a couple of Percs.

It sounds good but I disagree with bigarn about the corals because you could keep lps and some sps but i wouldn't try it if this is your first reef. Stick with lps and softies for know and maybe later on you could add a few lower light sps.
No on the mandrin.
Your filtration is good for that size tank.

No mandarin they need tons of live rock and a nice refugium to supply pods. It will not live long in the 10 gallon. He will eventually thin up and die.
