corals in normal florescent lighting?

i have a 29 and i was wondering if i could put corals in my tank i cannot afford betetr lighting what i have in the right now is the lighting that comes when u buy a hood it is a white looking florescent lighting??

I would say no, but mushrooms MIGHT survive.

I have an extra 10 gallon tank with regular lighting - I threw in some mushrooms and a ricordia to see what would happen. After about a month, they are all doing fine. Again, in a ten gallon, the tank is so shallow they get plenty of light (not sure about the quality, but ...) So far so good.
