Corals releasing chemicals?

i was told no...by LFS but ask this on the reef page for a better answer

can't blame them, cuz everything you see in their DTs are for sale, and their corals are coming and going everyweek. Perhaps, they didnt' even get a chance to see how dead corals effect the live ones ever. Only end users like us face the consequences when we buy the infected corals.
