Corals Spreading

How fast do corals spread out? Like mushrooms and the such... Does it depend on lighting or amount of food or water quality?

If the conditions are right (ie lighting, water quality, chemicals)
some corals will spread very quickly!

Is very quickly days, weeks, or months, or years?

I would say months. My mushrooms have spread over the past 6 months and have gotten much bigger!
