Corals Stinging each other

My torch coral and my pearl bubble started stinging each other and now the bubble looks like it is receding. I put them near each other and watched them. It seemed like they were far enough away, but one day I noticed the bubble coral's stinger streched out and attached to the torch.
The torch's tentacles are puffy looking, but half the bubble is definitely damaged and starting to recede and die.
I have since moved the bubble, but is there anything else I can do? Should I frag the damaged part of the bubble since it only looks like half is effected?
Anyone have experience or input on this?
Thanks in advance,
Frank

From what i have read on this board, a bubble it pretty hard to frag. i would just give it a little TLC and keep it away from other corals. the (euphilia sp?) species of corals are know to be deadly stingers, they win almost any battle for space. You have to be pretty carefull where you put them. there sweapers can be very long.

Torches are wicked little warriors. Just gve your bubble some space and it will heal. Try feeding it chunks of krill. If you do decide to frag, you better brake out the drummel
