corals turning transparent

My frogspawn has been turning transparent, but the tips stay bright neon green. Any suggestions on the cause?

what conditions is the coral in? i.e. lighting, etc.

water paremeters are all good except calcium, its at 390. I have 4 flourecents on a 55g. One of the lights is very old and I'm replacing it today, i think its the problem but I wanted some feedback

what kind of lights . . .VHO, NO, PC?

normal flourescents, I know your going to tell me to use better lights but these corals have been doing well for a good time.

How long is considered a good time?

yeah, you'll need to up your lighting a bit... i have 440 watts of VHO over my hammer and its doing great.
