What corals are best for normal lighting. I have heard that some corals do fine without intense lighting. I have also read that it helps to keep the light consistant. On and off the same time of day, everyday.

Go with low-light corals. Mushrooms are cool and easy and Ricordea too for starters. I keep my lights on a timer. My halide is on from 9am-9pm. Paula
