Corline Alge Question

From what I am reading there are three diffrent colors of coraline alge. Dark purple, brighter purple, and green. Is this correct, and is one more favorable to have over the other? In my tank I need to have all three, and currently more green than light purple, and more of that than the dark purple.

they are all good, I dont think one is better then the other....

Was just thinking aout it today, and all I see in pics of the reef tanks onthe site, only have the brighter purple coraline.

there are many colors...I have bright yellow, pink, red...<not cyano LOL> purple, orange.

yup all kinds o colors... i have purple, green, red, pink, and orange...they love the calcium!!!
