I have noticed on my LR only not my glass that some of the corraline algae is turning white. My calcium lvl is 450 so what else could cause it? On the back part of the tank it is all purple on the glass. Never seen this happen have you?

Yes, I've seen it. It usually turns white when it's dieing, but it usually comes back again. :D

my PH is covered in coralline and it turns white(DIES) when i do a water change and the water level drops below the PH, but if its happening on your LR check your water parameters
dont worry grows back pretty quick, i have 80watts of light in my 80 and i get good growth

it is benifical backteria for your tank. Ya you must be getting some on your LR. Just wait and see your hole rock this nice purple color. I have around 120 lbs of lr in my 75 and it is really nice. Just need to figure out why it is turning white.
