hermits and snails and 2 crabs
cleaner shrimp, sexy and 3 pep shrimp
could i get 3 schooling green chrom. or would that be over stock? and would they bother any of my fish? i gave 120.00 for the angel and i really dont want him bothered........along with all my other babies

also could i add a six line to control the bristle worms?

If your thinkin about putting these in the 55 thats in your profile, i deffinately wouldnt add any more fish. That would be 9 good sized fish in a 55 which IMO is overstocked

If you get a bigger tank you can . You are pushing it as it is with the angel in there .

What do you mean "also could i add a six line to control the bristle worms?" do the six line eat bristle worms?

i'm sorry, but your lfs took you for a ride if they are charging you 120 for a dwarf angel. what type is it, coral beauty, pygmy, potters--i don't recognize a "golden angel"? any of them should be much less than $40.
also, you're going to be in dire trouble with a scooter and a mandarin. they are both pod eaters and in a 55 gallon won't have enough to eat.

I have rarely seen six lines eat any bristleworms, but if they do at all, they will probably eat the babies. They will help control flatworms if you don't keep them fed all the time. Flat worms don't taste as good as normal food i guess..... 3 small green chrmis will not add a significant amount of bioload to what you have already. I'd start worrying about physical room more than biological room at this point, if your params are consistent and acceptable.

chromis can get to 2-3" though so right now no they won't be a big bioload, but they will be later. with the amount an angel poops, and with all those other fish in there, i'd agree that the tank is stocked. i don't even have 9 fish in my 75 gallon.

Yeah it makes sense that they would eat the babies, so I guess unless you actually remove your breeders, you can maintain a population of bristle worms with sixline...

I would think you are headed for trouble with the lmb, scooter, and mandarin. The scooter and mandarin eat the same thing which you wont have enough of. Also all 3 have similar bodies so they may fight.

i'd say the lmb is fine, IF there's an algae problem. but the scooter and the mandarin are trouble in a 55 gal.

Like I said, IF your params were good and consistent, you need to worry more about physical room. The biological room can be increased with optimum filtration, whether it's chemical, biological, or mechanical. I didn't say it's not a problem, but that PHYSICAL room would become a problem before biological room.

alright all of you are on me about the scooter, blenny and mandrian. all of mine eat frozen foods. actually the scooter and the lawn mower will eat any any food i put in there frozen or flake. the mandrain eats frozen food and live mysis shrimp which i put in daily. i have seen them all eat this stuff there is no problem with them getting food. trust me the madrian and the lawnmower look as though they are pregnant right now from eating so much very plump. but the question really was could i add the 3 chrom??? i understand the issues with these other fish eating but i would have never bought them if i hadnt watched them eat frozen food there in the fish store so i got that well taken care of but ty for ur concern on that. when i look at my tank at night i still see tons of pods, if they did want to eat them there is some there.
i have never once seen the lmb eat any algea. i clean the front glass and the sides with the magnent but the back i leave and it never tries to eat it.

as for the golden angel they dont have it on this site but if you go search it on line you will find it at alot of other places and the cheapest you can find it is 119.00 and you have to pay shipping so i think 120.00 was a good price for it they are rare fish that is why they are so expensive so there is more angels out there that are over 40.00.

i really wish ppl would help with the questions ppl ask rather than bashing them for other things they might say. i ask a question on this post and only a few ppl answered rather than bashing me about the blennys i have in my tank , and the price i paid for my angel.
thank you fishkiller and renogaw for actually answering my question.
