i dont have any bioballs in my fitler, i do have this blue messy stuff though, but im not sure if that is what you are talking about.
as for light what type should i be looking for?
one more question: what is Fiji rock? and what is it used for?

What kind of lighting do you have on the top of your aquarium? If you do not know, turn off your light fixture and read what it says on your bulbs.
Fiji rock is live rock from the islands of fiji. Live rock serves as the best and most natural biological filter for an aquarium.

i think it is just a standard aquarium light. nothing special. i know i have to change it, but i do not know what to change it with. i dont want to spend 100's of dollars on a light but i do want soemthing that is good so any recomendations are good thanks

if you want to keep corals you should be prepared to spend 100s on a light. You may find a great deal somewhere, but keeping corals isn't a cheap hobby.

what i mean is that i dont want to have to go out and spend $1000 for a light. i mean like $250-$500 is ok. i would like it on the lower end but im not gonna buy the cheapest cuz thats not smart either. an recomendation?

anemone also require alot of light. what size tank do you have? how often do you test your water? corals need much cleaner water than fish do, and they require calcium and trace elements as well. those things are not something that you just pour into the tank blindly. if your sea salt doesn't have ample trace elements and calcium, you need to test for each, and add accordingly.
it's just something else to consider.

i was thinking of doing it in my 55g cuz my 125 has alot of decorations that i would like to leave alone. or i was also thinking of maybe doing it in a nano tank to see if i like it. then take the next step after that. i know there is alot of testing. but i still dont know on the lighting situation. i looked at lights on the internet today and got totally lost. so any help there would be good
