Right now I have a 120 that doesnt have a sump on it and all I use is hang on filters. I am planning a 75 gallon reef and if I do make one then I want to have a sump because I think that hang on stuff looks tacky. I would also like to put a refugium but don't have the room or money to go buy another 55 gallon tank to use as a refugium. What I am wondering is, is it possible to have a regular sump with a homemade wet/dry in one part, hang on filters in one part and then in one part have some really nice mh lights over it and make it a refugium of sorts. Would this work?
