ok, i have seen the reports on the damsel, it is still very very young, only like an inch tops. i know that if he is left alone for long he will become very territorial, but i have seen them live ok with others in a tank . i have been raising freshwater cichlids in a 200gal for some time, so i kinda understand the temperament. the reef is a new thing for the most part. i started it up like 5 months. i was hoping to get the tank set up with a orange spot sand sifting goby the three strip damsel with the clown not sure which variety yet. and maybe the wrasse. along with the inverts and --corals someday. right now its just the a starfish- some snails -and a few blue legs crabs- the damsel - 50+lbs of live rock i do have about 3 -4 inches of fine sand pending on the spot in the tank.
i have read and seen that the damsel is coral safe in others tanks, maybe with caution but safe none the less. anyways l like the 3strip he is pretty cool.
has noone here had success with what i hope to achieve?
