could this be lymphocystis?

I have a lemonpeel angel fish-these are his symptoms: he has a cyst like growth on his mouth, its been there for almost 3 weeks, as of today there are red blood looking or raw spots around his mouth, it looks like these spots might be from rubbing his mouth on the rocks?? he eats fine and dosent appear to be stressed out. I've been reading other threads and looking at some of the photos on this message board and it looks like this condition. I'll have to get a camera that will take a close up shot so I can post it on here.
My water quality is good:
ph 8.2
SG 1.022
temp.78-80 degrees
ammonia 0
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
I've been feeding him marine cuisine and frozen brine shrimp soaked in selecon 4 times a week and daily food is formula 2 flakes with garlic.
he has 2 small clown fish and a royal grama as tank mates, they all get along.
I do twice a month water changes and right now they are all in a 10 gallon tank. I'm waiting to get my 75 gallon built into the wall.
My question is should I take the angel fish out of the tank and treat him separately or is this condition going to go away with time? OR do I need to upsize my tank and put them all into a temporary larger cycled tank until my other tank is ready?? I dont want the red spots to turn into some bacterial infection or worse. I've also had the fish for about 4 months.

It sounds like it is already bacterial. Can you post a picture of it? Is the spot clumpy looking or just a lump?

I'm working on getting a picture, most of them are coming out blurry. The growth almost looks like a small brownish cottonball on the lower side of his mouth. He still manages to eat though.

Lymphocyctis is not usually associated with red/bloody tissues. Take a look at the examples of fish with lymphocyctis in the Diseased Fish Thread to see if what your fish has looks like this.
Do you have a cycled QT? If so, you can use Maracyn Two for Saltwater Fish to treat.

Hi Beth, unfortunately I dont have a QT tank cycled- I could set one up asap- I do have 2 foam sponge blocks running in my filter now- I could use one of those in an extra filter I have and some of the existing tank water and crushed coral from the bottom, But I'm sure the tank will "mini" cyle. I dont want to stress the fish out anymore. I did get some photos taken of him last night, they are a bit fuzzy, but you can see where his mouth is red and where this growth thing is.
