Could this be the problem?

I posted a thread several days back about my Toadstool Leather and my Green Striped Muchrooms not opening up for several days. Things have not changed. My polyps, Rock Anemone, Colt Coral and button polyps are doing fine and fully open each day. About the time of the problem with the leather and green striped mushrooms I started using Seachem Phosorb to reduce my PO4 levels. COuld this be the cause of my problem? Do leathers need a higher PO4? My parmeters are as follows:
PH - 8.0
Nitites - 0
Nitrates - 5 ppm
PO4 - 0.2 ppm
Alk - 12 dkh
Calcium - 450 ppm
Salinity - 1.023
Ammonia - 0
I can't think of any other changes that might have caused the problem. I have done a 10% water change with filtered deionized water.
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
when i brought my sacrophyton(toadstool) home he also refused to open. After couple of days he has opened. But he began shedding every few days. For this reason he was closing for couple of days and then opened again. Last week i was relocating the circulation powerheads and completely changed the way they blow. Sinse then he became opened all the time, and even bigger. He is not shedding anymore!!! So what can i sugest about the Toadstool is try to increase circulation near him. This may help!!!
About PO4 level. I'm not a specialist, but as far as i know, there's no corals that need high phosphates.
Good luck.
