could i keep a cleaner wrasse in with my, golden puffer, small niger and clown? or not any other cleaner fish.
could this happen?

Answer to that is won't work. I told the story a while back how I bought a cleaner wrasse for my pork puffers when they got sick after being at the lfs for 9 weeks waiting for their new tank to get in (old one sprung a leak- another story). The cleaner wrasse went to work and followed the big male everywhere swiming right under it. For about the 6 weeks it took to clean them up the wrasse did its job and was getting quite fat along the way. One day I came home and the wrasse was gone. I know the big guy felt much better was eating again but had got thin after 4 weeks of not eating at all and he just ate his buddy. It is a law of the universe I think that in the case of a Puffer if it fits it will eat it at some point. It was a shame because it looked like the shark remora relationship while it lasted.
