looks pretty. Only problem with ocean aquacultured is they are fed light from a much wider scope - ie: the sun reaches all sides of the coral. The way you have that first piece mounted will pretty much kill of a good portion of the polyps through light starvation.
Not much you can do about it - that's why I prefer tank grown.
Definitely two pretty corals though!

Very recently Bali aquaculture has been putting out beautful stuff! IMO you have nothing to worry about with the way the pieces are mounted. Kistheeze brings up a good point regarding the sun, and that is one of the advantages of light movers and multiple halides. However, while tank grown specimens will alter their growth form according to your lights (and other factors), no matter how they grow there will always be parts that are shaded. These polyps will not hold nearly as many of the beautifully colored pigments that are brought on as a sunscreen (the reason top shots of sps tanks are always the best), but unless severely shaded they will not die. I have many colonies that have shown this. I do prefer tank grown for other reasons... mainly that the coral has been shown it could thrive in captivity as there are many wild species that have a rough record in captivity (like many of the table species, including A. clathrata).
My two cents...

Beautiful pieces. I recently saw a video of a an unnamed company (sorry didn't know if I could post it) that is in bali that sun aquacultures corals and clams...and let me tell you, the set up they have is simply amazing. The coral farming/propagation that is done in the ocean is by far the coolest. IMO propogated corals are the way to go. The lfs is going to be buying from this company soon...can't wait.

I'll try to find their website online. The video was a 200 and something meg file on a cd that the lfs got and showed to me.

Well, I couldn't find the site. The company is called Leading Aquatic if I remeber . I couldn't find their site so I don't think posting the company is a big deal...if I'm wrong sorry. Anyway, I'll for sure see if I can find out how to get a copy of the cd. Its truly amazing. There was one large prop tank which is full of hundreds of rose bubble tips. They propogate sps frags off the coast in shallow waters and are kept track of by men on floating rafts. They also propogate clams, softies and if I remember right something like 60 species of sps. This is bugging me that I can't find the site. Well, maybe someone else can find it.
