As i stated i have a couple of questions for whoever can answer them. My Live Rock is dues today so I'm exicted but it raised some questions. Should i do anything to it before i put it in the tank? I was thinking maybe i should dip it in a bucket of tank water to like rinse it off before i put it in? And about the placment of rock...Directly on the tank bottom or just in the sand?
And Lastly..is there ANY easy way to get this concrete hybrid of sand and i hink salt off of the aquarium glass? so far LOTS of vigorous scrubbing is all that works..lol Thanks for the help!

No water yet? you need to do a wet run of the tank to make sure that there are no leaks, this could take 24 to 48 hours. I know I messed with mine for about a week before I had it the way I wanted it, then I had standpipe issues for a couple of weeks after that for a internal overflow.
If your liverock is coming today then you should have been prepared for it by now with your sand and water in the tank already and up to proper temp, in this way the cloudiness from the sand would have been settled and you can aquascape to your hearts content. Adding dry sand now and you will not be able to even see to place the rocks. Adding live sand will be a better.
I would get some soda water and dip your rocks in it to get out any hidden bad suprises like mantis, pistol, or unwanted crabs out. Then add it to the tank to start your cycle process, if that is what your intention is.
As to the placement of the rock I used a sheet of eggcrate on the bottom of the tank that does not touch the sides of the tank about 2 or 3 inches from any side, I then placed about a 1/2 inch of sand down evenly, then placed my baserock on top with a gental twisting motion till it hit the eggcrate, then added the rest of my sand, for a shallow sand bed. Not sure what type of sandbed your going for. The eggcrate ensures that I will not scratch the bottom, as well as prevents damage from a reefalanche.
Hope that helps

You can also dip the rocks in very high saltwater, high as in 1.30ppm for a little bit and see if anything comes out
