Picked these two up today, the green one ain't much to look at yet but he'll get there eventually (really bright green, hoping it will "fill out" soon but I'm a little concerned as there seem to be polyps on Both sides of the rock...i put the corraline side up
)and the white one is pretty cool. Nicer colours in person. They've only been in my tank an hour or so so they're not fully open and don't mind the sand dust, i was mucking around in there :)

also: see the white tube on the upper part of the white colony, right hand side? There was a worm, with strings? dunno, looked like a giant spaghetti worm, living in there in the tank but i dropped the piece and broke off about an inch of the tube, stupid me
, but I saw him moving around in there just now (he's retreated back) think it might live?

Yes the tube worm will live. I break their tubes by accident all the time. They will regrow the tube if your calcium is in check. Nice zoas. The green ones are Radioactive Dragon Eyes.

Hey thanks for the ID - they're really bright and pretty much all open today. The white ones have more of a purple hue to them under my lights and I'm really happy.
The worm thing looks like he's rebuilding his tube allready, pretty neat.

I know this isn't a coral but any idea what the string is coming out of the tubeworm thing? it was doing that in the LFS as well. i can't get a good picture of it's face, it just looks like a snail/slug.

More than likely its just filter feeding. I will stare at my tank alot of times in the day and see a string floating in the water and if you pay close enough attention you will see it slowly retracting back somewhere. So more than likely its just trying to catch particles onto the string and then goes into its mouth. I'm not positive but i'm guessing thats all its doing. Seems harmless in my tank. And awesome looking white zoos. I WISH I HAD some white ones.
