courting ???

at the rest of sounding stupid, would 2 female horse court each other, mine are courting, according to what the web site says in the morning and in the evening...or would one of them have to be a male thanks

I have 2 females that swim around the tank tail in tail like they are in love!!! They are VERY affectionate with each other! i am almost positive they are both female! I got them due to their colors so I didnt care....Sunny changes color for Ruby too.

If they are young, one may be a late bloomer.
