cowfish with ich

My cowfish is showing signs of ich. If I added a cleaner shrimp, would the shrimp clean off the ich or would the cow eat the shrimp. I know they love crustaceans.
Or would a fresh water dip be better?

my cow had ick about 6 months ago.
I did hypo and fed garlic soaked shrimp from the store.
(soaks up the garlic better) he came thru with flying colors and is the joy of my tank now. He even had cloudy eyes that cleared up to. again, do hypo, dont wait and he needs to stay in it for about 3 weeks. Keep an eye on your ph. Also feed him soaked food as much as he wants,
do a search on hypo, i never did it before and lost alot of fish. I now swear by it.
