Cowfish

Does anyone have experience with these fish? Any info. would be appreciated.

Here is my advice........ BE CAREFUL....could be a ticking time bomb.

unless I am mistaken they are alot like sea apples in that if shocked or agitated they can poison the rest of your tank...

yep!! and cowfish also get about 18" pretty huge.

When stressed they secrete a poison that can easily kill all the fish and other stuff in your tank. Actually I think they can even poison themselves!
Very cute fish but need pristine conditions and peaceful tankmates. They can get big but honestly I've never seen it happen.

Wow, I had no idea that they could be trouble waiting to happen. We looked at them and for one reason or another we decided not to get one. Glad now we decided not to, I don't wnat to add any problems to our tanks..

Hawkeye; Tick-Tick-Tick- They are a time bomb as stated don't be tempted, for every one that has a good experience with them there are 9 who didn't (I am one of the 9- say a whole tank of fish dead due to the little rascal).

No worries, I was just wanting to learn more about the fish - they are cute little guys, but I have enough stress in my life, no need to add more. Thanks everyone for the info.
