cowrie snails good or bad?

Haven't experienced that yet. My largest one is about 2 inches. True it does manage to lodge itself behind the PH between it and the glass...but they are great at sqeezing itself thru things...they remind me of my snakes.
They are not very attactive. They also breed like rabbits!
