cpr bak pac skimmer ??s

Can you folks help with the set up of this new peice of equp.I dont know how to set it up and fine tune it? It is hanging on the back of my 30g.IT seems to be getting some bubbles in the coll. cup after about an hour. Can you help with how to really use it.

I have a CPR Bak Pak. What is the problem you are having with it?
The bottom of the collection cup should be about 1/4" below the water line. It will take a few days to a week to break the thing in.
Is is spewing bubbles into your tank? Put a piece of foam in the output opening.

Thanks for your response. WHat do you mean the bottom of the collection cupTHe bottom where the foam coll are the bottom where it has the hour glass shape again athanks and aI will try the sponge.

The very bottom where it is flat - should be about 1/4" to 1/2" below the water line. You can lower or raise it depending upon how much or too little foam is collecting.
