[CPR Bak-Pak 2] With or without the Bio? Rio or Maxi pump?

Maybe this belongs in the "newbie" forum......:notsure:
Having problems getting any skim.......but just wondering if I should run the CPR Bak-Pak 2 with or without the bio.
Also, which pump will be best?
I purchased a used CPR that came with a Rio but noticed that the newer models come with a Maxi-Jet.
Wondering if the Maxi Jet will perform better & if it will be a little more quiet....
Man.....the Rio is pretty loud!:scared:

RIO's are not very reliable pumps. You would be better off with a MAxi-jet.
