CPR BakPak Performance??

Ok I was just wondering if there was anyway to get better performance from my CPR BakPak 2R+. It is working fine but it seems like there isn't as much bubble action as could be possible from what I saw in an Remora at my LFS.. Mine currently has the MJ1200 that came with it and is set with the air tube where I can seem to find the most bubbles in the chamber. I was just wondering if changing to a different pump or somehow modifying the air tube would create more bubbles??

I have the same skimmer and I noticed that when I changed the air line tube for a longer one, it seemed to work a better. Maybe its just me. But another thing that you can do is keep adjusting the air intake valve.

thanks, I'll give the longer tube a try but I already do adjust it almost every day... and it's just getting annoying

When I got my dual bak-pak I did a test with both compatible pumps. the MJ 1200 and the RIO's. The MJ did not produce any skim and when I switch back to the RIO's it would go crazy!
