CPR SR2 Skimmer

I am looking at skimmers for the sump I am building and I'm wondering if any one has any experience with this CPR Brand. I have also been looking at the AquaC Urchin. The CPR is only about 100 buck on line. Seemed like a good deal. This will be in a sump running in a 55 gal fowlr.

I have an Urchin Pro on my 50 gallon reef and it works great very very quit and makes foam like crazy the frist week I had it it was pulling out crazy black sludge I guess thats what my old skimmer wasn't getting.

I run the SR9 on my setup.I love the skimmer,but the RIO pump is junk.

Yes I have two of the CPR SR2 currently running. One in my 55 semi-reef, the other in my 30 semi-reef tank.
I had the CPR Bak-Pak II in the 55 for over a year, but liked the performance of the SR2 insump unit better, so I bought another one.
The Bak Pak II is now on my 10 gallon mini tank.

I have removed all the blue bio media since there pics were taken, and I'm very slowly removing bio media from all reef tanks filters.

Beth AquaC makes the urchin series they also make the remora which is a hang on the tank version of the urchin
