Crab For Dinner

I had a non-reef safe crab in my aquarium for some time. I didn't seen him for atleast a month until tonight when he was going after one of my blue legs. I had him pinned, but only managed to get his left claw before he took off. Will this claw grow back, or have I done some permanent damage?

His claw will grow back.
