found this fuzzy guy as a hitchiker (3 months later...)

little better shot of the Claw.

right now i have him in a plastic container, he's been tough to get out and i had to move some rock so i don't want to lose him again. is it a teddy bear? is it the predator??

yea, the claw is very sharp. it actually molted so i was able to get a better look at it and i'd hate to have that thing on my toe out in the ocean.
i have no refugium though, and i dont want to keep it in my QT.. what am i supposed to do with it?

as stated - hell no not a teddy. sharp , mean claws = No no in your tank. you will lose many inverts and eventually fish as it grows

what should i do with it? i have a wet dry that i can't figure out how to attach a fuge to so that's out of the question. other than putting it to sleep in the freezer or keeping it in my qt until i get another fish, i dont know what to do with it.

worst case scenario bring him to a LFS for credit or more likely a free contribution, but at least he will live.

already spoke to lfs and he said its a common crab that comes on the rock he buys and isnt interested in it. he said they are destructive.
looks like he stays in the QT until i get a fuge.

I'd guess gorilla crab. Here's a pic I found of one. Said you can identify them by their hairyness and black tips on the claws. Not reef safe.
