Crab Legs Gone

I have a 72 gallon tank. Inside I have the following
1 Volitan Lion (Rather large)
Porcupine Puffer
Yellow tank
Purple tang
Maroon Clown
Black Velvet Damsel
3 Yellow tailed damsels
Bi Color Angel
Australian Tusk Fish
Everyone gets along just fine in the tank. I also have a large crab (unknown name) but it is rather large (shell is about 3 inches point to point). Recently I noticed all of his legs are gone (The ones used for walking) Both of his pincher claws are in tact and he is using them to get hobble around.
My question is....is there any chance these will grow back? Also, any idea what happened to them. If anything I would have to guess the only fish with the size to do something like this would be the Lion or the Puffer but I have never seen either one of these act aggresively towards anyone else in the tank (Including a spider decorator crab I have).
Any input would be appreciated.

I also have a spider decorator, and i noticed that he had been running off with my anenome crabs pinchers.... (leaving him to die
) My first thought was... I better not see this jerk "wearing it" on his back tomorrow.....
......
I think it was the spider decorator in your tank too.........they are thieves.........LOL

they can grow back as long as he can feed and there is nothing thats been stressing him out causing him to lose his legs!
i had a purple lobster and he lost 2/3 of his legs and lived for about another month till he perished

i also had a cleaner shrimp that was missing a leg and within two molts he grew it back, so its hard to tell...
id say having lost all legs its gonna be pretty difficult for him to survive
