Crab problem.

I have two regular decorator crabs, only up until yesterday i noticed odd behavior from only one of them. He seems to bother my nassarius snails alot. He picks them up and appears to try to eat them. My other crab doesnt do this at all. This one didnt start until yesterday. Anything i can do?

Sounds to me like he is hungry. Maybe try feeding the crabs something extra. Maybe some krill, shrimp, silersides.

He might be looking for a bigger shell... Crabs do enjoy the taste of fresh snails also...I suggest taking him down to your lfs and see if they'll trade it or give you some type credit. My lfs gave me some really good pellet food($7) for a Red Hairy($6).... Good Luck.

BuddyRo, Decor crabs dont have shells. However you are correct with other crab species.
