ok, so my friends parents went to aruba and brought back some shellsin the shells tehy found a little crab that was still alive. they have been keeping it as a pet for the last day and i told them i would put it in my tank if it was ok for it. so do you guys think it would be ok to put this guy in my tank? is it bad for the other fish. will it just die if it needs to come out of the water at some point? will the humu humu trigger eat it? thanks

could putting this crab in my tank mess up my tank water at all? i have a 44 g with a wet dry. i dont really mind if he gets eaten. i just dont want my nitrate or ammonia to go up for some reason?...

One little crab will not affect water chemistry at all. Crabs put very very little bio load on a system, almost none at all. But I would see what kind of crab he is first before I would add him to any tank. Maybe take a picture and post here. Maybe he is Darth Vader the evil jedi crab and will kill everything in your tank
