crab removal

ok as many of you know i have been battleing a crab issue. i have removed almost 40 so far most very small. i have identified 7 species and found 2 more species today. just got out the flash light and saw a light brown one with a big red claw, also a bright red one the same color as a fire shrimp. i am done with them all...i did not want to but i am pulling all the rock out approx 200lbs, my question is how do i get rid of them without destroying the other life.

Go medieval on them with a knife.

Maybe dipping it in a high salt solution piece by piece making sure one rock at a time is crab free, though a qt container to hold/inspect the rock before you put it back in might be required. also I am really not sure how the high salt dip effects the beneficial bacteria

maybe u could build a trap like the ones they use to catch the big crabs?
