Crab that swims??

My friend had a crab that had the flattened back legs for swimming. She has been looking for a couple years to figure out what it was. The LFS told her it was a boxing crab. The crab was white and about 2" and he had black spots on his back. He would actually swim to the top of the tank. Does anyone have any idea what type of crab it would be. We are pretty sure it wasn't a boxing crab...

take a look at Lissocarcinus polybioides
also if you like swimming crabs i believe Harlequin crabs are swimmers

just be aware that swimming crabs are piscivores...
