Crabs and snails

We have a 55g FOWLR with no crabs and a dozen or so snails. I would like a to add a few turbo snails and some crabs, what kind and how many?

The kind i think is a matter of preference, I have a lot of blue leg hermits. theres no exact number it all depends on how many it takes to keep your tank looking good. I've heard a ratio that says 2 hermits to every snail. I personally have 12 snails and around 20 hermits, in my 40 gal. tank and will probably go buy some more snails. Something else ive heard is that snails clean your LR so if your hermits are haning out on the LR and not cleaning your substrate then you need more snails which i guess makes since. hope that helps!
