crabs or snails with puffer

I have a porcupine puffer and therefore have been timid about putting in some snails or crabs as a cuc.
Does anyone have any ideas that they may would try ? Which snails is he most likely to not mess with.
PS: I have corals too

Just pick the ones that are the most nutritious.
