Crabs Reef Safe??

r all little crabs reef safe? i seen a pretty big hermit crab with a little anemone on its shell at the lfs and they told me that it was SAFE FOR THE REEFS BUT I DUNNO! r they?i wanna buy more stuff for my tank but do not want to risk killing any corals.

Some crabs are and some are'nt. One of the more popular crabs is the emerald and even some of them have been extremely destructive. Hermits and others are the same way. Some will do fine while others will not.
The crab you described is a decorater crab. They are supposed to be reef-safe, but be careful. Not to mention he will take misc. things and stick them on his back. Sounds cute til' it's your favriot poylps are worse.
