Crinoids

I recently purchased a red Feather star for my reef tank. There seems to be little information around about there care. I have seen many of these creatures whilst diving, they position themselves high on the reef and have incredibly sticky arms, so much so that they tear themselves off if you even slightly brush one. The specimen I have is active enough, but I have yet to see it feed. The arms have no real adhesive ability like I have seem in the wild. Has anybody had any experience keeping these beautifull animals? What do I do???

Hi,
I also just aquired one of these animals, my LFS gave it to me for free because it came in on one of the corals in a tank I was buying from. He seems to be doing OK at the moment. Again, I'm no expert on them, but as far as I know they are filter feeders and feed on zooplankton. Apart from that, I'm not too sure.
Regards,
Tom
