crocea clam lighting

what do you guys think, be honest, crocea clam in a 8 gallon biocube with upgraded lights to 54 watts 1 10k and 2 actinics clam will be placed half way up so at about 6 inches from light.
thoughts?

I think not, will not thrive and probably whither away over some time.

crocea clam is the hardest to keep. in a 8 gallon? its gonna be hard to keep thing stable. the light wouldnt work either long term.

do you suggest any types of clams that would work? with the same vibrant colors

most all of the colorful clams we keep will eventually become larger than an 8 gallon tank. None will live a healthy life long term under pc lighting. I just got into the clam thing and am finding out just how demanding they are. Look up the member candycane the local clam expert. you will learn more than you ever wanted to know about clams.
In an 8 gal if you want color and have that lighting zoanthids are you best bet!
