Crocea Clams

I wanted to know what others experience has been with Crocea clams. I am looking at them for two reasons. From what I have read they stay relatively small, and they appear to be attractive clams.
Any input from others on their experiences would be great.
Thanks in advance.

they r considered the most demanding of all tridacnid clams, when it comes to lighting and water parameters. i hv 3 in my tank under t5. i wouldnt put one in unless ur tank is at least 6 months old with very good water quality.

I've had mine for 8-10 months?
I also have a nice derasa and a 3" or so maxima under t-5/halide lighting.
I don't spot feed any of them, all have grown and look beautiful.
Easy to keep under the right conditions I guess.

I think I should be ok on the lights, but if I am wrong please let me know.
