css skimmer pump question

bought a coralife super skimmer a month or 2 ago
lfs gave me a[ cap 1800 ]pump with it . skimms ok,but
shouldnt i have a needle wheel pump with it ?

I have the ss220 and mine came with a needle wheel pump.
Was this skimmer maybe a used one?

no it was new in box ,lfs gave me [cap 1800] pump
seperate in box.did he keep needle wheel pump for him
self?does it normaly come with skimmer?

not all of the css are needle wheel skimmers some are the venturi style
