Cuases for bubbletip roaming?

system has been up for over a year and ive had a pink bubble tip for about 5 months. in the past two months it has been roaming over the same corner of the tank, going back and forth between two spots. I'm curious as to the publics thoughts on this. Water quality is perfect as normal, i test and water change religiously. there have been no new additions to the tank. I have a 55gallon; with 216w T5HO's. My only thought was lighting levels due to age of the bulbs, ive never replaced them, but i was under the impression that HO's would last 18 - 24 months. any ideas?

Lighting, water chemistry, flow or some kind of critter(like a bristle worm) maybe bothering it. Any or all could cause an anemone to be unhappy and roam. BTA's normally will stay put(for many months or years) once their ideal spot is found so something is agitating yours, IMO. Large water changes can also upset anemones as well.

An Anemone will move around till its happy. Its looking for the right amount of light, flow and somewhere it wont be bothered. It will stay put sooner or later. Just hope it doesnt kill any of your corals when it moves, that is if you have any in your tank. Hope this info helps.

T5's should last for 18 months. They will move for all the mentioned reasons and I will also add... I had one that never moved in over a year then started moving from one side of the tank to the other. After several weeks it decided to plant itself under a rock. I turned the rock over but it went back underneath. I decided to leave it alone. After another month of hiding it split. I am just saying this could be a possibility. How is the coloring of yours looking, if it is starting to look bleached than I say time to replace your bulbs.

do you have only 4 lamps on your 55g? That is really on the low side to keep an anemone even if they are all 10k w/individual reflectors. If you have any actinic dont count them in your wattage they only help with color and your anem gets no help from them.can you post a pic of your anem?
