CUC in the back chamber

So I was playing around in chamber #1 of my BioCube this week. There is a lot of detrius in there, as I had the stock filter and some chaeto a the top. I will be siphoning out the back chamber tomorrow during my water change.
Well I removed the stock filter again, as I seem to use it about every other month and the chaeto. I did this because I needed to add a heater since my fan upgrades were keeping the tank at around 72.
So here is my question...does anyone put snails in their back chambers to help keep them clean?

Hmmm.... that sounds like a good idea, especially to help get rid of that nasty detritus. (sp?)

I am always finding snails in my back chambers. I dont see why you couldent put some in there
